MEET THE MAKER

Hi, I'm Katie, a graphic designer and founder of Quirk Creations, based in East Sussex. I'm a proud mum to two fabulous little girls. My background was working on consumer magazines as an Art Editor and freelancer for 15 years. I took a break from my career to raise my kids but couldn't wait to get back to designing. I've now found a way of combining my passion for creativity and education, and can also juggle motherhood along the way.

Over the years, I've become more aware and interested in the way children learn, in particular, children with additional needs and the adaptations they require to make learning easier. I noticed a gap in the market for resources that looked beautiful and were more visually engaging. This is why I created Quirk Creations in 2022.
